Our staff has provided a wide range of civil engineering services to municipalities throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona. Typically these efforts can be categorized into one of the following basic service sectors.
We have a long and successful track record in helping municipalities take advantage of state and federal grant programs for watershed protection, flood mitigation, and water/wastewater improvements. Combined with our ability to package projects, our knowledge of available grant programs and eligibility requirements has resulted in millions of dollars in improvements for our customers.
Effective management of our water resources is critical to the long-term health of the environment and our economic prosperity. With increasing pressures on water use, this is more evident today than ever before. Through our multidisciplinary team-based approach, our team’s water specialists will provide sustainable solutions that successfully balance careful consideration for development needs, with concerned efforts to reduce impacts on the natural environment.
We assist the efforts of both public and private sector clients to provide their communities with reliable and secure water supplies through the use of innovative solutions that incorporate the latest technology in drought assessment and management, river basin simulation and statistical hydrology. We provide services through all phases of a project life cycle, from initial concept plans through to design, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation. Our experience with municipal water supply for a variety of communities throughout the West provides our personnel with the experience necessary to ensure the successful completion of project objectives. We are a leader in water supply and have experience with virtually every facet of this important issue.
Cordillera staff has successfully completed a variety of wastewater projects for clients throughout the West. Our experience runs the gamut from initial master plan through design and construction of gravity and forced-main collection systems, sanitary lift stations, as well as treatment and disposal facilities.
We provide specialized, professional services in stormwater planning, management and design in urban and rural settings for municipal, commercial, industrial, and agriculture clients. Our professionals are well-versed in hydrologic and hydraulic issues associated with stormwater planning, drainage design, and floodplain mapping, and are familiar with local policies, procedures, and regulations. In addition to proven technical and management skills, Cordillera provides implementation strategies, monitoring, economic analysis, public participation programming, survey development, flood control planning, and floodplain management.
Cordillera has made the commitment to stay on the forefront of technological advancements for the benefit of our customers. We employ the latest hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software including XPSWMM, CUHP,HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS. By using the latest proven technology, we expedite data collection, analysis, design, the generation of reports and communication among our professionals and customers.
